The Division Object

Neuropsychology refers to the study of the association between the structural and functional organization of the central nervous system. Neuropsychology aims to the understanding of cognitive and other functions in man and the ways they regulate human behavior in health and disease. With the application of an interdisciplinary approach, neuropsychology combines methods and techniques of various scientific fields, such as clinical psychology, psychometrics, neuroanatomy, neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, etc. There are numerous specializations in neuropsychology, such as developmental, cognitive, clinical, and experimental neuropsychology.

The Neuropsychology Branch

The Neuropsychology Branch was officially established in 2008. Neuropsychologists from Greece and Cyprus who engage in teaching, research and clinical work in the area of neuropsychology are members of the Branch. The members meet once a year and the coordinators are elected every two years.
